The Partnerships MeetUp – an event by and for life science professionals – brings together everyone who is interested in pioneering medicine through close collaboration. Learn more about innovative forms of public-private partnerships, and discuss initiatives for bringing better medical solutions faster to patients. It’s a great opportunity to strengthen existing relationships, and to form new partnerships on the way!
The many challenges facing modern society have much in common. They all demand solutions to increasingly complex problems, affecting more people, and using fewer resources. Innovation in health research is no exception, and it increasingly depends on cooperative ventures between public organizations, authorities, and private enterprises – on public-private partnerships (PPPs).
Such multi-party partnerships are often complex, and to succeed they need to generate win-win outcomes for all participants. The Partnerships MeetUp on 12 October 2017 will give some very important insights into what makes a successful PPP, with an emphasis on neglected diseases, sharing resources, regulatory innovation, and data infrastructure. The goal is to help cement relationships that are already in place and to foster new ones.
Compared to the first edition of the Partnerships MeetUp, the event offers more interactive parallel sessions, with contributions from professionals in the pharma industry, medtech, charities, and academia. We will be exploring new ideas, and discussing how to take partnerships to the next level – making sure that you are equipped to take your innovation or collaboration forward.
The Partnerships MeetUp is organized by Lygature, a not-for-profit organization based in the Netherlands.
